Family Services Practitioner Role

As a key member of our team, you will work in a local primary school providing early intervention and flexible support to families. Your solution-focused approach will help us tackle the complex issue of school refusal, and your strength-based mindset will ensure that families feel empowered and supported.

Your day-to-day tasks will involve building relationships with families and children, using your strong working knowledge of the education system to assertive outreach and follow up, conducting comprehensive family assessments, and ensuring that every child's voice is heard through active listening. You will also have the opportunity to draw on your understanding of trauma to inform your practice.
