Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Officer to join our team at The State Of Queensland. As a Senior Project Officer, you will play a key role in enhancing the operational efficiency of our Capital Assets and Facilities Management portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development, implementation, and delivery of our comprehensive maintenance program, ensuring that our properties are maintained to the highest standard.
  • Prepare funding bids for maintenance and coordinate State-wide condition audits.
  • Provide high-quality customer service through the development and maintenance of strong relationships with stakeholders, client agencies, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Contribute to the development and review of operational policy and systems.
  • Manage maintenance projects, including scope development, engaging consultants and contractors.
  • Provide supportive and responsive mentoring and leadership to team members.

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing maintenance programs and projects within a property portfolio, preferably in a government or large organisational context.
