Sustainability and Agricultural Communications Lead

We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our events and communications initiatives, driving engagement with growers, agronomists, and industry stakeholders. As part of our team at Loam Bio, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our brand presence and messaging.
Key Responsibilities- Event Planning and Execution: Develop and execute strategies for conferences, field days, product launches, and promotional events that showcase our innovations in carbon solutions.
- Logistics and Coordination: Coordinate event logistics, including travel, venue selection, catering, equipment, and accommodations within budgetary constraints.
- Communication Campaigns: Implement communication campaigns to promote events and commercial initiatives, ensuring brand consistency across various channels.
- Media Relations: Monitor media coverage and initiate additional communication as needed to maintain a strong media presence.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with sales and product teams to align event strategies with business objectives, ensuring seamless execution.
- Experience: 5+ years in event management and communications, preferably in the agriculture or related industry.
- Agricultural Knowledge: Deep understanding of agricultural audiences and the Australian agricultural industry, with a preference for experience in broadacre cropping.
- Success Metrics: Demonstrated success in planning and executing events with measurable outcomes.
- Marketing Expertise: Experience in developing and implementing marketing campaigns to promote events and enhance company initiatives.
- Project Management: Strong project management and event management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for managing promotional materials, writing press releases, creating newsletters, and maintaining consistent messaging across various channels.
