Management Accountant Role Overview

About the Position

We are seeking a seasoned Management Accountant to join our team.

  • This role will involve leading month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies is also a key responsibility.
About You

To be successful in this position, you will require:

  • Tertiary Accounting Qualification or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Management Accounting, preferably in Mining Services or Manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in Coupa and PRONTO systems.
  • Excellent technical accounting skills, analytical skills, and ability to interpret and reconcile financial information.
  • Able to work collaboratively and independently, as well as multitask with excellent time management skills.
Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Coordinating audit activities for Mining Services with the Perenti Corporate Finance Team.
  • Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Identifying process automation and efficiency improvements.
  • Supporting ERP system enhancements and implementation projects.
  • Assisting with monthly reporting pack preparation and budgeting and forecasting reporting cycles.
  • Working closely with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insights.
