Deputy Director of Clinical Services Job Summary

We are seeking a visionary leader to fill the role of Deputy Director of Clinical Services, supporting excellence and innovative patient care at our health campus.

The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership primarily responsible for Medical Specialty areas, ensuring exceptional patient outcomes through operational support.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Driving growth and business development initiatives to meet strategic objectives
  • Maintaining a focus on clinical excellence across the organisation
  • Supervising care delivery and coordinating activities of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Managing hospital budgets and resources effectively
  • Assessing workplace culture and implementing actions to promote positive culture maintenance
  • Forecasting future workforce requirements and managing Human Resources accordingly
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • A minimum 5 years experience in a management role or equivalent
  • Leadership abilities with capacity to inspire and guide teams effectively
  • Experience in strategic planning, reporting, and policy development
  • Familiarity with quality and risk management frameworks, as well as clinical governance principles
