Job Title: Aeronautical Systems Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Aeronautical Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for the development, review and approval of technical artefacts for the Wedgetail Sustainment program.

The successful candidate will have experience in aviation engineering focused on Technical Services, with a strong understanding of Continuing Airworthiness Management (Part M) and 21J Design activities.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse and highly skilled team that delivers Mechanical Systems in-service support directly to the customer.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold a Tertiary qualification either in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related tertiary Engineering degree qualification satisfying the requirements for membership with Engineers Australia (MIEAust).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in aviation engineering focused on Technical Services.
  • Familiarity with engineering change processes
  • Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, or eligibility to obtain.
  • Experience working under DASR or equivalent regulatory environment desired.
