About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced healthcare professional to lead our Consultation & Assessment Team as a Team Leader. This is a key leadership role within our Mental Health Services, and we are looking for someone who can provide expert clinical, operational leadership and supervision to the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consultation and liaison services to staff and managers of other mental and general health teams and relevant external agencies.
  • Ensure team staff comply with professional and organisational obligations in relation to policies and procedures, risk management and notifications in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, manage and support a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement changes to improve clinical service delivery and outcomes, models of care, evidence-based practice and practice development.
Requirements
  • Current APHRA Registration and authority to practice as a Registered Nurse.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in acute child and/or young person's mental health (0-24 years).
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead, manage and support a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in initiating and implementing changes to improve clinical service delivery and outcomes, models of care, evidence-based practice and practice development.
