High Voltage System Technician

Overview Our team seeks a skilled High Voltage Specialist to perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on standard equipment. The ideal candidate will construct and install system components, equipment, and fixtures while adhering to safety procedures when working with electricity.
Responsibilities- Performs routine preventive maintenance and repairs on standard equipment.
- Constructs and installs system components, equipment, and fixtures.
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots faults in installations.
- Makes modifications to a variety of devices using standard test equipment.
- Adheres to safety procedures when working with electricity.
- Measures and controls electrical parameters.
- Prepares technical documentation.
- Must be a US or Australian citizen.
- Must have a US TS/SCI clearance w/Poly, or an Australian PV clearance.
- Must have a minimum of five years of experience working with medium and high voltages.
- Must possess a Union/Utility MV and HV certifications, or the Australian equivalent.
- Must be knowledgeable of operating/maintaining switch gears, transformers, isolation breakers.
This is a contingent position based upon contract award. This role will be located in Alice Springs, at a 4,400-acre facility with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.
