Highway Maintenance Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Highway Maintenance Professional to join our team. As a key member of our roadside maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing roadsides across various council-controlled contracts in Ipswich.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Inspect equipment on a daily basis to prevent accidents
  • Ensure adherence to established safety procedures and best practices

  • Operate mowing equipment safely and efficiently to maintain high-quality results
  • Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals
  • Customer Satisfaction:

  • Complete service requests as required to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication and issue resolution

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in roadside zero turn mowing and brush cutting
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid Manual Driver's License and White Card
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team or individually
