About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team at Bluefin Resources. As a key member of our Cloud Services team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud services for our clients.

As a Lead Cloud Architect, you will work closely with our Product Owner to enhance and refine our Cloud Service offerings. You will collaborate with teams, partners, and vendors to deliver cloud services across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement cloud services as an Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Develop cloud service patterns in alignment with the Product Owner's vision, using standardized Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC) blueprints.
  • Collaborate with Cloud Technical Architects to realize these patterns.
  • Refine the Cloud services product roadmap, ensuring capabilities stay ahead of business needs.

About You

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Proven Large enterprise stakeholder management / consulting background.
  • Proven experience in Cloud Architecture and technology.
  • Strong automation skills across multiple Cloud platforms.
  • Agile expertise in planning and delivering work as part of a scrum squad.
  • Approximately 7+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure and/or Development.
  • Deep knowledge of Public Cloud Architecture, especially Microsoft Azure.
  • Advanced Automation skills, including Terraform Enterprise, HashiCorp Vault, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Ansible, or equivalent DevOps tools.
  • Advance skills in datafactory, logic app, function apps, AKS / Kubernetes and SQL database.
  • A security-first mindset aligned with SecOps and secure by design principles.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced engineering squad, solving problems collaboratively.
  • Strong Agile ways of working experience and a passion for technology.
