Project Manager Job Description

As a Project Manager at Turner & Townsend, you will be responsible for driving projects to successful completion. This involves developing working relationships, problem-solving, and proactively managing the design process to meet client requirements and manage expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Prepare project management plans, programs, budgets, and other key project deliverables.
  • Project Administration: Manage project timelines, risks, and reporting. Chair project meetings with clients and consultants.
  • Contract Administration: Manage internal project administration, including invoicing, variations, subconsultant management, and contract risk.
  • Business Development: Build the business through engagement, marketing, and tendering activities.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and support junior colleagues to grow and develop professionally.
  • Reporting: Draft PSC Reports and Monthly reports for review by the AD or Director.

Requirements:

  • Administrative Skills: Administrative skills with strength in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are essential.
  • Construction Experience: Familiarity with the Design Phase and Construction Contract Administration experience are highly desirable.
  • Qualifications: A Bachelor qualification in a construction-related field or a different field with a keen interest in construction or experience in a construction-related field is required.
  • Communication Skills: Great communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, with English fluency to a native standard.
