Speech Pathologist Opportunities
We are seeking Speech Pathologists to join our multidisciplinary teams, servicing a mixed caseload or working as a specialist paediatric or specialist adult Speech Pathologist.
The role involves assessment, treatment and management of a broad range of clients in the community and inpatient setting, including children and adults with communication or swallowing disorders, and those with difficulties in speech, language, voice, fluency and literacy.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with families, people living with disabilities, local schools and other organisations to deliver Speech Pathology services, staff education and promoting the importance of early intervention.
You will also provide a regular Speech Pathology service to local aged care facilities.
The successful candidate will be well supported within a close-knit team of allied health professionals, as well as via clinical supervision and education opportunities.
Required skills and qualifications include being client focused, demonstrating effective interpersonal and written communication skills, able to work autonomously and manage a busy workload, and having the ability to function as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team.
