Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Dispensary Pharmacy Operations Manager to support the after-hours pharmacy service at our hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy operations and leadership.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the provision of pharmacy services, including after-hours operations
  • Ensure safe, accurate, and efficient distribution of medications across the hospital and affiliated institutions
  • Oversee pharmacists, pharmacy interns, technicians, assistants, and other support staff
  • Supervise drug distribution tasks, patient services, clinical duties, and educational activities in designated areas, aligning with departmental policies and procedures
Key Requirements
  • Full registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia with no restrictions on scope of practice
  • Relevant clinical pharmacy experience and motivation to further develop skills relevant to current practice
  • Demonstrated teamwork orientation and ability to work independently
  • Strong time management skills
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Good problem-solving abilities
