Medical Officer Coordinator

Albury Wodonga Aboriginal Health Service (AWAHS) is a leading provider of primary health care and related social and family support services to Aboriginal people and communities across North East Victoria and the Southern Riverina.
We are currently undergoing a period of growth, offering exciting opportunities for our team members. We now seek someone who will play a crucial role in offering professional and informative reception and administration services to our loyal clients, the community, clinicians, and our team.
The AWAHS Glenroy clinic is a bustling and lively place, requiring someone vibrant to be part of this energetic team.
To succeed in this role, you should have some experience in medical reception/administration work, good skills and knowledge when working with Microsoft Office and computers. You must understand and respect Aboriginal health, culture, and history, possessing excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
You should be all about the community and have our clients' best interests at heart. Time management, prioritizing your work, and lending a hand to others in your team should come naturally to you.
We require you to be of Aboriginal descent with proof of identity.
This is a full-time, permanent position, paying $26.00 – $27.00 per hour. You can expect to work 38 hours per week.
