The CNC role is a key position within our endoscopy department, responsible for providing expert clinical leadership and support to ensure the highest standards of patient care. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing best practice protocols and guidelines, facilitating staff training and professional development, and driving quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical leadership and support to the endoscopy department
- Develop and implement evidence-based policies and procedures
- Facilitate ongoing learning and professional development
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and patient safety strategies
- Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Authority to Work in Australia
- Working with Children check (if relevant)
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
- Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
- Experienced in the theatre environment (Essential)
- Extensive experience in endoscopy nursing and/or gastroenterology
- Strong knowledge of clinical governance, accreditation, and best practices
- Previous experience in clinical education and training
