We are a team of vibrant professionals collaborating with clients across various sectors including renewables, infrastructure, defence, regulation and policy, resources, and urban development. We provide integrated environmental and social assessment and management services from concept to operations.
Our national biodiversity team is renowned for its technical expertise and robust biodiversity assessments. Our services are in high demand due to new projects within the renewable energy, infrastructure, and resource sectors. Our goal is to use our expertise to balance development, impact avoidance, and offsetting results achieving the best possible environmental outcome.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Ecologist who possesses:
- Tertiary qualifications in environmental science, botany, zoology, or similar fields.
- A minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
- Accreditation or experience under the SA Native Vegetation Act 1991 is highly desirable.
- Terrestrial flora and/or fauna survey experience, including planning surveys and coordinating field teams.
- Demonstrated experience in project managing medium and large-scale development and/or biodiversity projects.
- Strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, and team members.
- Demonstrated experience in collecting and interpreting ecological and spatial data.
- Excellent communication skills, including report preparation and review.
- High motivation and strong team commitment.
- Flexibility to work hours and travel for work.
