We are seeking an experienced Chief Technology Risk Officer to lead our Assurance team in Brisbane.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take their career to the next level and develop leadership skills in an inclusive and diverse environment.

About the Role:
  • Lead audits/assessments of IT processes against leading practice IT risk and security frameworks and common standards
  • Prepare reports for stakeholders
  • Nurture stakeholder relationships to achieve service expectations, deliverables, and outcomes

As a key member of our Technology Assurance team, you will have opportunities to develop skills in emerging technology risk areas, such as AI, Blockchain, and Cyber Security, and partner with internal and external teams to address compliance, financial, and operational risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive results-oriented audits and assessments
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to mitigate current and emerging risks
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders through exceptional communication and engagement skills

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years delivering Audit engagements, including diverse IT Internal Audits, SOC1, SOC2, SOC3, SOX, GS007, or ASAE Audits
  • Practical approach to assess new technology and evaluate impact, risk, and remediation
  • Experience using current technology and tools to enhance deliverables and services

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree qualification in IT or related discipline (finance, business, or accounting qualifications considered)
  • Professional accreditations and qualifications favourably considered
