About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at Early Start Australia. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based assessment and therapy services to children with developmental delays and/or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based assessment and therapy services to a paediatric caseload;
  • Conduct day-to-day assessments and interventions with a mixed caseload, focusing on evidence-based practice;
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support children's development and well-being;
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including families, teachers, and other professionals, to deliver quality outcomes;
  • Work in a variety of settings, including clinics, client homes, schools, and via telehealth.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy or a related field;
  • Strong passion for working with children and families, with a focus on making therapy fun, engaging, and meaningful;
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a culturally diverse environment;
  • Effective time management and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities;
  • Experience working with children and/or disability, with a strong commitment to delivering evidence-based practice.
