About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at Early Start Australia. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based assessment and therapy services to children with developmental delays and/or disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, evidence-based assessment and therapy services to a paediatric caseload;
- Conduct day-to-day assessments and interventions with a mixed caseload, focusing on evidence-based practice;
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support children's development and well-being;
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including families, teachers, and other professionals, to deliver quality outcomes;
- Work in a variety of settings, including clinics, client homes, schools, and via telehealth.
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy or a related field;
- Strong passion for working with children and families, with a focus on making therapy fun, engaging, and meaningful;
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a culturally diverse environment;
- Effective time management and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities;
- Experience working with children and/or disability, with a strong commitment to delivering evidence-based practice.
