Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Operations Assistant to join our team. As an Operations Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our engineering operations by coordinating inventory, supplies, and administrative tasks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and coordinate deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods.
  • Maintain accurate records of all storeroom items and conduct regular physical inventories to identify any discrepancies.
  • Order materials to restock the storeroom and maintain a minimum inventory level to prevent stockouts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized storeroom environment to ensure efficient workflow and safety.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure necessary supplies are available and meet operational needs.
  • Process invoices for inventory, work materials, and supplies in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist with colleague engagement activities and manage schedules in Kronos to ensure smooth operation.
  • Review and update vendor/contractor liability insurance and perform general administrative tasks as requested.

Requirements:

  • A positive and outgoing personality to interact with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in computer software applications.
  • Knowledge of inventory control principles and practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office software applications.
