Are you a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer looking for a challenging role in the oil and gas industry?

Brunel, a leading recruitment and workforce solutions provider, is seeking an experienced professional to support operations on the Ichthys FPSO.

Job Description

The successful candidate will provide technical expertise across process and utility systems, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the facility. This involves:

  • Acting as the process engineering focal point for the FPSO
  • Providing frontline technical support for operational issues
  • Conducting process surveillance and risk assessments
  • Supporting shutdown planning, maintenance prioritisation, and procedure reviews
  • Identifying opportunities for system optimisation and performance improvement
  • Liaising with vendors, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree qualification in Chemical, Process, or related Engineering discipline
  • Considerable experience in operations support within oil & gas/refining/petrochemicals
  • Proficiency in Aspen HYSYS and OSI PI; SAP PM/Meridium APM desirable
  • Deep understanding of FPSO systems, process safety, and regulatory compliance
