**Disability Support Professional Wanted**

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Disability Support Workers. This is a permanent-part time opportunity for a minimum of 45 hours per fortnight.

The role requires providing support to individuals in their homes and the community, assisting them to live as independently as possible and achieve their NDIS goals. Dementia experience is highly regarded due to the nature of the house.

This is a critical role in supporting individuals on a continuous basis, requiring empathetic and reliable individuals who demonstrate compassion and dependability in all interactions.

- Proactive, taking initiative to meet the needs of those you support
- Strong communicators, able to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members
- Flexible and adaptable, open to learning and adjusting to varying support needs
- Team-oriented, working collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for clients

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing individualized support to people living with disability in a residential setting
  • Assisting with daily activities, personal care and medication management
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with clients, families and other stakeholders
  • Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve client outcomes

Requirements:

  • Experience working in disability support or a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills
  • Availability for mixed shifts, including sleepovers
  • A current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Dementia experience highly regarded
