Caregiver Specialist

This role involves providing high-quality clinical care to residents in our residential aged care home.

• Delivering direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures
• Serving as a team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team
• Ensuring safe working practices to protect oneself, colleagues, and residents by closely following all policies and procedures

To succeed in this position, one needs:

• A kind heart and genuine passion for delivering exceptional care to the elderly
• Current registration with AHPRA after completing a Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification
• In-depth understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
• Demonstrated knowledge of AN-ACC assessment processes
• Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of age-related health issues
• Excellent coaching/training skills
• Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Willingness to undergo a Police Check and NDIS clearance
