The role of Medical Officer will involve delivering high-quality medical services to patients at the Moura Hospital.
- Responsibilities include collaborating with the Medical Superintendent to provide comprehensive emergency department care.
- Private practice opportunities will be available at a dedicated surgery located in Minogue Street, Moura.
- Candidates will have the chance to maintain and enhance their clinical skills through work at the Moura Hospital and Gladstone Hospital.
- A Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent qualification that is eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Enrollment in a General Practice training program that enables access to Medicare benefits.
- Current certification in Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS).
- Ongoing commitment to Continuing Medical Education (CME).
Candidates with emergency experience seeking vocational registration through the Remote Vocational Training Scheme (RVTS) are encouraged to apply.
