Volunteer Retail Assistant

Are you looking for a role that allows you to develop your retail skills and make a positive impact in your community? We are seeking enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join our volunteer team at our Strathalbyn Op Shop.

About the Role:

We require volunteers to assist with sales, customer service, stock management, and visual merchandising. As a volunteer retail assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail environment and develop your skills in areas such as cash handling, inventory management, and customer service.

Requirements:

  • Previous retail experience an advantage but not essential
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
  • Reliable and punctual with good time management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods
