About the Job

This position is an excellent opportunity to work as a registered midwife in a hospital setting, providing high-quality care to women and families across the continuum of pregnancy, birth, and postnatal care.

The role involves working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate midwifery care, while maintaining responsibility for personal and professional development through ongoing training and education activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate expertise in a range of midwifery skills and knowledge to provide woman-centered, evidence-informed care for allocated women and their families.
  • Maintain accurate records of care and communicate effectively with colleagues and healthcare providers.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in performance reviews to ensure continuous improvement in service delivery.
Ideal Candidate
  • Registration with AHPRA and current NSW Drivers Licence (P2 Licence Acceptable).
  • Proven ability to engage with pregnant women and their families and enhance their experience of service delivery.
  • Desirable experience working across the full scope of midwifery practice.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive work culture.
