As a Civil Construction Apprentice, you will be based in Yass, commencing in February 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career with Transport for NSW.

Below is an overview of the anticipated recruitment timeline:

">Key Responsibilities:

• Earn while you learn, combining paid work with structured training to develop practical, in-demand skills for a career in civil construction.

• Receive hands-on experience and comprehensive training while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

• Gain valuable industry experience within a NSW Government agency.

• Develop key workplace skills including effective communication, teamwork, and problem solving.

">Requirements:

• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or an Australian permanent resident.

">

• Have completed Year 10 or hold a Record of School Achievement (RoSA) or equivalent.

">

• Be ready to commence full-time employment in February 2026.

">

• Hold, or be in the process of obtaining, a C Class driver licence.

">

• Have access to reliable transport to travel to the office or depot.

">

• Be comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, or near live traffic as required.

• Be willing to travel as part of your role.

">

• Have basic computer literacy skills.

">

• Demonstrate teamwork and maintain a positive, accountable approach in all you do.
