Culinary Expert

At Mehr's Augment Pty Ltd T/A (CHASKAH Caroline Springs), we're seeking a skilled Culinary Expert to spearhead our kitchen operations. Key responsibilities include preparing and cooking dishes from our established menu, adhering to quality and presentation standards, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook dishes from our established menu, adhering to quality and presentation standards.
• Ensure all food meets quality standards in terms of taste and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen.
• Operate and maintain various kitchen equipment, including Tandoor, ovens, and grills.
• Check and replenish ingredients and supplies as necessary.
• Ensure food preparation areas are clean and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Help monitor stock levels and provide input for kitchen inventory needs.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, specializing in Indian cuisine.
• Relevant qualifications (Cert IV).
• Experience using Tandoor, ovens, and grills.
• Strong commitment to hygiene and food safety.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
