Early Child Care and Education Trainee

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Early Child Care and Education trainee.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children and developing their skills in early child care and education.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a real-world setting, working closely with experienced educators and childcare professionals.

Our centre provides a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages learning and growth. As a trainee, you will be part of a dynamic team that values teamwork, respect, and open communication.

The role involves assisting with daily activities such as childcare, educational programs, and administrative tasks. You will also have the opportunity to participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A Working With Children Check and Australia Work Authorisation are mandatory requirements for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily childcare activities, including meal times, sleep times, and outdoor play
  • Contribute to educational programs and activities, such as arts and crafts, music, and story time
  • Support the Centre Manager with administrative tasks, including data entry and record keeping
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
