We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Compliance Officer. This role is critical in ensuring adherence to various regulations and laws, including gaming control acts, liquor control acts, and theatres and amusements acts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough investigations and inspections to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Review business and financial records, verify license applications, and compile comprehensive reports.
  • Provide guidance and advice to clients on regulatory compliance and related matters.
  • Built strong relationships with the public, licensees, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • Completion of training in a trade or technical area, with a minimum of six years of related experience.
  • An equivalent combination of training and experience may be acceptable.
  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills, with ability to extract licensing requirements and apply legislative provisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Diplomacy, resourcefulness, and strong organizational skills.
