Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Business Risk Advisor to join our team. As a trusted advisor, you will help clients navigate complex business environments and make informed decisions.

The Role:

  • You will lead due diligence projects, managing intricate business intelligence initiatives and producing clear, actionable reports for clients.
  • You will oversee multiple client assignments, consisting of complex or multi-jurisdictional tasks under the supervision of a Client Manager.
  • You will engage with clients during project calls/meetings, particularly when delivering report findings but also when exploring potential work opportunities.

Mentoring: You will develop and mentor team members, providing regular feedback to project team members.

Key Skills:

  • Evaluating potential local partners and investments
  • Mapping out sources of reputational and integrity risk
  • Conducting investigations to help clients respond to internal and external threats
  • Scoping due diligence projects
  • Managing complex business intelligence projects
  • Producing clear, analytical reports
  • Leading multiple client assignments
  • Engaging with clients
  • Mentoring team members

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in consulting / financial services / journalism / government / research-driven roles
  • Understanding common integrity and reputational risk issues related to companies and executives operating in Australia
  • Familiarity with Australian public records, including corporate records, litigation databases, etc.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex findings in English
  • Strong time management skills, with ability to meet multiple deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail, driven to resolve uncertainty and confusion
  • Passion for learning about businesses and commercial trends
  • Confidence in presenting to clients
  • Collaborative approach to achieving goals
