Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Embroidery and Heat Press Production Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our production process, you will be responsible for operating high-speed embroidery and heat press machines, producing quality embroidered and printed products.

Your primary focus will be on preparing machines for operation, loading digitized designs, thread color changes, and needle replacements. You will also be responsible for hooping garments, applying backing for embroidery, trimming, folding, and re-packing garments post-embroidery or pressing.

A key aspect of this role is maintaining accurate work order records and updates, as well as responding promptly to machinery breakdowns to minimize downtime. Additionally, you will perform basic maintenance on embroidery and heat press machines, read and interpret work orders to determine embroidery specifics, and conduct regular machine and inventory inspections.

You will work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth production workflows and contribute to the achievement of our business goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Basic computer knowledge and experience with full-time embroidery and heat press machine operation.
  • Familiarity with 1, 4, & 6 head Barudan embroidery machines and 2 heat press machines.
  • Strong attention to detail, deadline-oriented, and good communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Based in Southeast Queensland, e.g., Brisbane or near the NSW border.

About You

As a reliable and motivated individual with previous experience in commercial embroidery, especially with Barudan or Tajima machines, you will thrive in this role. If you are deadline-oriented, have strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Pay Rate

$69,160.00 per year, depending on experience.
