The Role

We are seeking a passionate individual to join our kitchen team as a cook, working alongside another team member to prepare high-quality and nutritious meals for young children. This is a rewarding role, working family-friendly hours - Monday to Friday from 7am to 2pm on a permanent part-time basis. You will receive all the training you need to excel in your role and grow your culinary skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals for young children, following allergy management plans to ensure their safety
  • Manage inventory and place weekly food orders
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to achieve our goals

Requirements
  • Strong passion for cooking and promoting children's nutrition
  • A keen interest in gardening would be advantageous
  • Hold, or be willing to obtain, a Certificate in Food Safety Supervisor
  • Hold and maintain a Working with Children Check
  • Ability to plan varied and nutritional menus for young children
  • Ability to cater for special dietary and cultural needs
  • Ability to work within a budget
