About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Public Area Cleaner to join our team at Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach. As a Public Area Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in all public areas of the hotel, including floors, windows, rest rooms, driveways, reception, pool area, and function rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain 5-star cleanliness in all front of house areas
  • Work together with the housekeeping team to ensure a high-standard of cleanliness
  • Use your eye-for detail to maintain cleanliness in all public areas
  • Be a key support to the team by upholding clean and usable spaces in all back of house areas
  • Keep your team and guests safe by ensuring adherence to security procedures and health and safety of hotel spaces

Requirements:

  • Experience as a public area cleaner within a hotel (preferably in a luxury hotel environment)
  • Availability to work 2pm – 10pm, with some flexibility
  • Physical fitness is essential
  • Safe manual handling training & experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Commitment to delivering a 5-star service to guests
  • Organisation and Efficient time management skills
