About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist Leader to join our team at SA Health. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for the organization, management, and operation of our designated pharmacy area.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a comprehensive range of pharmacy services, exercising independent and autonomous judgment in the provision of pharmacy services, medicines information, and therapeutic advice to patients, medical and nursing staff, and other health professionals.
- Optimize outcomes for patients by implementing strategies to achieve the best possible quality use of pharmaceuticals in a safe and cost-effective manner, in accordance with hospital policy.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the effective management of pharmacy services, including the management of medication stock, ordering, and distribution.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and communication between departments.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
