Job Overview

This is a challenging 12-month contract role where you will play a key role in ensuring the effective governance and delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assurance services including project establishment guidance, best practice governance, and health checks to support project delivery.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, offering guidance and challenge to projects where needed.
  • Maintain project frameworks and collaborate with senior managers to manage their upkeep and continuous improvement.
  • Develop annual project assurance plans based on the portfolio to ensure suitable levels of assurance activities are conducted.
  • Participate in steering committees to ensure governance is effective, including discussions on project status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
Requirements
  • Tertiary degree or equivalent in a relevant field from a recognised institution.
  • Certification in project management methodologies such as Agile, PMP, MSP, PRINCE2, or PMBOK.
  • 7+ years' experience in professional services preferably in finance, banking, or consultancy.
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role with proven ability to deliver outcomes to agreed timelines and facilitate effective working relationships.
  • Strong background and knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience in initiating new projects and setting up effective governance.
