Sorting Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Sorting Assistant to support our Social Enterprise team.

The position's purpose is to sort clothing and other items for retail stores.

  • Sorting and separating incoming goods, including removal of rubbish and hard goods
  • Packing orders for retail stores
  • Loading and unloading trucks as required
  • Maintaining a clean work environment

Key skills and experiences include:

  • Previous warehouse experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Knowledge of brand names, quality items, and vintage wear
  • Understanding of opportunity shops, recycling, sustainable fashion practices, and circular fashion
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team to achieve objectives
