We are in search of a skilled and innovative environmental specialist to spearhead the Environmental Unit, focusing on the execution of the organization's Environmental Strategy, Climate Emergency Plan, and Zero Net Emissions Plan, along with associated policies and strategic documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a dedicated team of professionals engaged in climate change initiatives, biodiversity efforts, environmental outreach, and natural resource management.
- Exhibit advanced leadership capabilities while navigating the legislative, policy, and political landscape pertinent to local governance.
- Foster genuine collaboration with community members and stakeholders, effectively influencing organizational change.
- Provide strategic direction to the team, ensuring alignment with the overarching vision while addressing daily operational challenges.
