Strategic Planning Lead

This is a Maximum Term Contract position that requires working with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities, develop, co-design or integrate service or system responses to address service gaps, create a better experience for patients, encourage better use of health resources, eliminate service duplication, build health workforce capacity, and improve the quality of care.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate and support the participation of people with a lived experience to enable them to take an active and meaningful role in service planning and design.
- Provide specialist advice on the Australian Health System, particularly primary health care, primary health workforce, and the NT context.
- Use research translation, data analysis, and data validity to inform planning and decision-making.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with a wide range of internal and external clients, partners, and stakeholders in an environment requiring cultural sensitivity.
- Design and deliver co-design activities, lead projects, and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Evaluate programs to lead consistent, rigorous, and accountable decision-making processes addressing organisational priorities.
- Train and mentor staff in areas of expertise.
