Job Summary

We are currently recruiting a HSE Business Partner to join our team based in Wacol with regular travel to our locations across SEQ.

About the Role

This operationally focused role involves driving and demonstrating HSE leadership with managers and employees to ensure everyone understands and believes in HSE matters on a personal level.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with managers and employees to engage them in HSE practices and a safety culture for Penske's business operations.
  • They will also develop, implement, and maintain a Management System that matches Penske's, legislative and ISO requirements in Workplace Health & Safety (WHS), Environment.

In this role, you will provide an effective Risk Management approach to ensure best practice WHS and Environmental management for Penske's business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • To drive and demonstrate HSE leadership with managers and employees to ensure everyone understands and believes in HSE matters on a personal level.
  • To build strong relationships with managers and employees to engage them in HSE practices and a safety culture for Penske's business operations.
  • To develop, implement, and maintain a Management System that matches Penske's, legislative and ISO requirements in Workplace Health & Safety (WHS), Environment.
  • To provide an effective Risk Management approach to ensure best practice WHS and Environmental management for Penske's business operations.
  • To ensure HSE policies and procedures are embedded in Penske's business operations.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a relevant tertiary or equivalent qualification in OH&S – Minimum Diploma OH&S. They will also possess experience in implementing and maintaining best practice WHS and Environmental programs.

  • Good knowledge and understanding of federal and state legislation related to WHS and Environment.
