Role Responsibilities
This position begins as a casual role with the expectation of transitioning to a permanent full-time position in the near future.As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role within the management team in the region. Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering evidence-based physiotherapy assessments, treatments, and rehabilitation services to Defence personnel. Overseeing and managing the physiotherapy department to ensure the delivery of high-quality physiotherapy services.This role is ideal for a clinician focused on mentorship, clinical leadership, and continuous improvement, allowing you to make a significant contribution to the health services provided to our Defence Force members.
Candidate Profile
Please note: Candidates must be Australian citizens and able to obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance from the relevant authorities.
We seek individuals who: Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Thrive in collaborative environments, effectively engaging with both clinical and non-clinical team members while navigating complex legislative frameworks and compliance activities. Possess strong management capabilities, including leadership and conflict resolution skills. Are genuinely committed to mentoring, leading, and developing internal talent while promoting meaningful career pathways for clinicians.Additional requirements include:
Current, unconditional, and unrestricted registration with AHPRA. A minimum of 5 years of full-time postgraduate musculoskeletal experience in an accredited physiotherapy setting (or part-time equivalent). At least 2 years of full-time postgraduate musculoskeletal experience within the last 5 years in an accredited physiotherapy environment (or part-time equivalent).
