Warehouse Operations Leader

The role of Warehouse Operations Leader is to oversee the daily operations of a warehouse team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This involves leading a team of staff during daily operations, coordinating production schedules, shift handovers, and setting clear expectations.

Key duties include:

  • ">
  • Leading and supporting warehouse staff during daily operations;">
  • Coordinating production schedules, shift handovers, and setting clear expectations;">
  • Overseeing loading, transport, and stock movement;">
  • Reporting and resolving issues quickly (downtime, quality, or stock);">
  • Supporting the training and development of operators in SOPs and safety practices;">
  • Liaising with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Maintenance, HR) to support service delivery;">
  • Contributing to process improvement initiatives for safety, efficiency, and quality;">
  • Leading and coordinating daily shift operations to meet production and delivery targets;">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar warehouse or operations role;">
  • Experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment;">
  • Reinforcing steel industry experience preferred;">
  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety standards and compliance;">
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills;">
  • Comfortable using basic computer systems (Microsoft Office, WMS);">
  • Confident in managing shift schedules, handovers, and KPI tracking;">
  • A proactive, 'can-do' attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement;">
