About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced legal professional to join our team as a Senior Legal Advisor in Bupa.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and guidance on employment law matters, industrial/workplace relations, workplace health and safety, and compliance.

You will work closely with our leadership and executive teams to ensure the provision of high-quality legal advice and services that meet the needs of our customers.

This is a Melbourne-based role with hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Legal Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal advice and services.
  • Provide expert legal advice on employment law matters.
  • Support and manage litigious matters.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in employment-related legislation and regulation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4+ years relevant post-admission experience in-house or in private practice.
  • Law degree from an Australian or international university.
  • A current relevant practising certificate in a state Supreme Court and the High Court of Australia.
  • Experience advising on employment law and regulation.
