Our multidisciplinary team approach ensures a quality support service that meets the needs and goals of our participants and their family.
Job DescriptionWe are expanding our team to support NDIS participants living in the Wollongong & Nowra region's. We welcome an Occupational Therapist looking to make a meaningful and rewarding impact in their local community.
You'll bring expertise, maturity, and strong time management and organisational skills to the role.
Suitable candidates will provide supports to cover NDIS participants living in Wollongong, Nowra, and surrounding suburbs.
We offer structured supervision, mentoring, and CPD opportunities to help you grow in our fast-paced, energetic, and fun workplace.
No two days are ever the same You might find us in childcare centres, schools, aged care facilities, day programs, the community, homes, and/or our clinic space.
Responsibilities
- Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services
- Assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
- Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance participants' quality of life and meet their goals
- Mentor and nurture early career clinicians
- Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
- A pro-active attitude and interest in continually developing your skills
- Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists
- A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
