About Rydges South Bank Brisbane

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Rydges South Bank Brisbane, located in the heart of Brisbane's arts and entertainment precinct.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and has a proven track record of maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality in a fast-paced hotel environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Department, including supervising a team of approximately 40 staff members, conducting regular inspections of guest rooms, and ensuring that all areas of the hotel meet the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent leadership skills, a proactive attitude, and hands-on operational experience. You will also need to be familiar with Property Management Systems (PMS) and have experience with Optii system is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Housekeeping Team, coordinating with hotel departments for all cleaning requirements
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms to ensure they meet cleanliness and quality standards
  • Allocate daily workloads for room attendants, housemen, and public area cleaners
  • Assist in preparing and allocating VIP and sales site rooms daily

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
