We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our development engineering team, you will play a crucial role in providing development engineering services, expertise, and advice for public infrastructure projects.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with our standards and specifications related to conditions of development consent. This will involve:

  • Providing development referrals to achieve our development assessment response timelines;
  • Offering strategic advice in relation to engineering considerations and future infrastructure needs;
  • Conducting comprehensive engineering assessments of development applications;
  • Representing us at the Land and Environment Court;
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our engineering standards and processes;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in engineering or a related field;
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills;
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes and maintaining professional standards;
  • Experience in the coordination and delivery of civil projects;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in civil construction, specifically in relation to roads, bridges, and drainage;
  • Exceptional customer service skills;
  • A demonstrated ability to organise, schedule, and conduct engineering inspections with a high level of communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills;
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package including:

  • Salary range: $91,780 - $110,136 p.a. + superannuation (negotiable based on experience);
  • A 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance on top of the base salary;
  • A fully maintained leaseback vehicle for both business and private use;
