Key Skills and Qualifications for Success

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Engineer with significant experience in structural engineering, strong communication skills and the ability to mentor developing engineers.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, chartered membership of the Institute of Engineers Australia and registration as a Professional Engineer of Queensland.

Essential Requirements

To succeed in this role you will require:

  • 10+ years demonstrated experience in structural engineering
  • Strong understanding of Australian design codes and standards
  • Demonstrated experience at a senior level of project design and commercial outcomes for projects
  • Experience in writing tenders and proposals, leading projects and communicating with clients
  • An innovative and out of the box attitude to solutions and designs
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
About the Opportunity

As an Associate Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our clients, working on a variety of projects and mentoring junior engineers.

You will have the opportunity to develop your own team and client base, and work collaboratively with other professionals to deliver complex projects.
