About the Role

Sirrom Corp is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of mine site cleaners and ensuring that all communal buildings and facilities on the mine sites are clean and well-maintained.

This is a physically demanding role that requires a good level of fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for managing a team of eight or more mine site cleaners, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and training to perform their duties effectively.

As a Site Maintenance Manager with Sirrom Corp, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a team of mine site cleaners and ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Ensuring that all communal buildings and facilities on the mine sites are clean and well-maintained, including bathrooms, waste removal, and basic grounds keeping.
  • Developing and implementing maintenance plans to ensure that all equipment and machinery is properly maintained and functioning effectively.
  • Coordinating with the Mine Site Manager and Village Manager - Operations to ensure that all operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements

To be successful as a Site Maintenance Manager with Sirrom Corp, you will need to have:

  • At least 2 years experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a mining or industrial setting.
  • A strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures, including WHS and other industry cleaning quality standards.
  • The ability to work independently without supervision and as part of a team.
  • A high level of fitness and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • A valid Australian Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen.
