Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead complex migration initiatives in Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and drive application migrations to a new infrastructure platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with domain experts to prioritize and assess applications for migration and group them accordingly.
  • Assess and document the current state of applications, including server configuration, storage, integration points, criticality, user access, and more.
  • Design and develop target state architecture for on-premise deployments, particularly for perimeter and complex applications.
  • Work closely with internal architecture and security teams to obtain necessary approvals for perimeter and/or complex applications.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in Data Center migrations, particularly in large-scale and complex environments.
  • Expertise in infrastructure architecture and design, with a focus on on-premise deployment strategies for complex applications.
  • Hands-on experience creating logical and physical architecture diagrams.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams (application, network, storage, compute, security, etc.).
