
Child Adolescent Mental Health Service Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Specialist to work in partnership with children and young people, carers and primary care providers to deliver an initial response to referrals for children and young people aged 0-18 years who require mental health support.
The successful candidate will provide an immediate response in a 7 day a week, extended hours (8.00am to 8.30pm) service across Northern NSW responsible for responding to referrals via a single point of contact.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide timely and effective responses to referrals for children and young people requiring mental health support.
- Work collaboratively with children and young people, carers and primary care providers to deliver high quality services.
- Respond to referrals in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for children and young people.
- Registered Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or Clinical Nurse Specialist.
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Experience working with children and young people who require mental health support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
