Job Description

The Leading Hand Carpenter plays a pivotal role in our organization, overseeing day-to-day workshop activities at our Distribution Centre.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising carpentry work and modifications on portable buildings
  • Supporting installation and demobilisation on customer sites
  • Coordinating workshop schedules and ensuring safety compliance
  • Mentoring the team and fostering a team-focused environment
  • Conducting quality assurance checks and collaborating with internal teams
Required Skills & Qualifications

We are seeking a qualified carpenter with strong leadership skills and a passion for quality builds. Key qualifications include:

  • Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent)
  • Strong hands-on skills in custom/modular/portable carpentry
  • Previous leadership or mentoring experience
  • White Card (Construction Induction)
  • Great communication and team coordination skills
  • Forklift license or willingness to obtain
  • Physical fitness and a safety-first approach
